オンラインディスカッション（OKU-WWL Student Online Meeting）を本校主催で10月30日に開催しました。2023年度のOKU-WWL Student Online Meetingの第２回目の実施となります。

池田校舎（本校）、平野校舎、金光学園高校（岡山県）、そして、国際交流で来校中のサンダン高校（韓国）の生徒らが総勢37名参加しました。

OKU-WWL Student Online Meetingの概要
WWL大阪教育大学ALネットワークの高校生国際会議は、「持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）」に関して、 国内外の高校生が、交流を深めながら高校生として何ができるのか議論することを目的としています。今年度の高校生国際会議は2024年1月20日(土)に実施予定です。
この取り組みの一環として、国内外の高校生とのオンラインディスカッションを開催しています。
第1回目を平野校舎の主催で9月27日(水)に行いました。

第2回目を池田校舎の主催で10月30日(月)にしました。
第２回目の今回の開催について
‘Let’s discuss academic background-oriented society, World Expo and food loss in English!!’ がテーマです。（「学歴社会」「万博」「フードロス」）
今回の第２回目のオンラインディスカッションは、本校が「ユネスコスクール」として長年交流を続けている韓国サンダン高校の生徒の来校時に実施しました。
池田校舎とサンダン高校と、ALネットワークの連携校を交えた国内外の広い交流を目指し、今回のオンラインディスカッションを計画しました。
「外国の高校生と、身近なテーマについて、英語で議論をしてみたい」という気持ちの連携校の日本の高校の生徒が参加しました。
- 開催日時：2023年10月30日(月) 日本時間16:00〜17:00
- 実施形態：オンラインの接続にはCisco Webexを利用
オンラインディスカッション実施内容
【オープニング】
本校生徒から、参加メンバー全体に今回の交流の開催目的を説明しました。
【アイスブレイク】
シルエットゲーム（クイズ）を実施しました。
【チームディスカッション】
Cisco Webexでは、オンライン上で分科会を設定することができます。
オンライン上および対面で、それぞれグループに分かれてディスカッションを行いました。
このディスカッションでは、Googleスライドを利用して、自己紹介と、分科会のテーマについての議論を行いました。
★Academic Background-Oriented Society
Example:
Academic background filtering means that in the document screening process of job hunting, students from low-preference universities are removed based on the name of their university, and students from high-preference universities are hired.
This is controversial because it leads to excessive exam competition and a tendency to emphasize only test scores.
Let’s think about this for a moment…
★Food Loss
Example:
Bringing home leftovers from eating out is called doggy bagging. It has now spread around the world, and in France, restaurants will be obligated to provide doggy bags legally.
In addition to reducing food loss, doggy bags are also beneficial not only for enjoying food twice at the restaurant and at home, but also for sharing food with others.
Let’s think about this for a moment…
★World Expo
Example:
The 1970 Osaka Expo was a great success. One reason for this was the exhibition of the latest technology, such as linear motor cars. Today, however, the Internet has become widespread, and it makes less sense to exhibit technology in Japan as it did in the past.
If you were to exhibit a pavilion at the Expo, what would you plan? Why?

最後に、全体でクロージングセレモニーを行いました。
2nd OKU-WWL Student Online Meetinでは、１時間という短い時間ではありましたが、対面・オンラインを通して、どのチームも活発に議論を行うことができました。
